Q. What can I use for inclusions and from what kinds of pets?
A. You can use whiskers, fur, hair or ashes from cats, dogs, rabbits or horses.
Q. How do I know how much of my inclusion to send?
A. The amount needed will vary based on your chosen design. I will let you know the quantity required in your inclusion kit.
Typically I will need:
- A 1/4 teaspoon of ashes
- A small lock of fur. *Fur should be shaved or cut to get the best finished piece. Fur removed from a brush or swept up off the floor does not tend to set well.
- 2-4 whiskers that have been naturally shed or taken after a pet has crossed the rainbow bridge. Please do not cut or pluck whiskers from live animals. I will not accept them.
Q. How do I send my inclusion items to you?
A. After you place your order, I will send you an email with mailing instructions through Canada Post.
Q. How do I know what inclusions can be used in each piece?
A. Each piece has a list of the inclusion items available to choose from, once you select the piece.
Q. What is your jewelry made of?
A. I use stainless steel jewelry because it is very durable, hypoallergenic and resistant to tarnish.
Q. How long does it take to get a finished piece?
A. Current lead times can vary between 2-3 weeks AFTER receipt of your inclusion items. Upon receipt of your inclusions, I'll send an email to confirm they've arrived safely and provide an updated production timeline.
Q. Will my piece look exactly like the picture on your website?
A. Each piece is carefully handmade, resulting in a distinct character, unique to your order. While it will beautifully reflect your chosen design, variations ensure you receive a truly one-of-a-kind creation.
Q. Can I send inclusions from multiple pets?
A. Yes, I can use inclusions from multiple pets in one piece.
