Shipping Information

Availability: Shipping is currently available within Canada only.
Shipping Inclusions to Kindred Resin: Shipping to Kindred is not included in your pricing. You can choose any shipping method, however it is recommended that your inclusions are shipped via Canada Post Xpresspost, because it includes a tracking number and $100 of insurance coverage. Standard ground or regular shipping does not include insurance, a tracking number, or a guaranteed delivery date. Because the materials you send me are irreplaceable, I highly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method for your peace of mind.
Standard Shipping: All completed orders from Kindred Resin are shipped via Canada Post Xpresspost, which again includes a tracking number and $100 of insurance coverage. The tracking number will be sent to you via email or Messenger.
Alternative Couriers: If you prefer to use Purolator or FedEx, please contact me directly to make a special request. (Additional charges will apply).

The Beauty of Handmade Keepsakes

At Kindred Resin by Design, every piece is carefully handcrafted with love and meticulous attention to detail. Because these memorial keepsakes are handmade, minor variations such as micro-bubbles, slight surface textures, or unique inclusion placement do occur. These natural characteristics are not defects; rather, they are the beautiful, individual hallmarks of a custom piece of art.

Understanding Your Materials

Medical-Grade Stainless Steel: I intentionally craft my jewelry using high-quality stainless steel. Unlike sterling silver, stainless steel is exceptionally durable, highly resistant to scratching, and will not rust or tarnish. It is built to last, making it the perfect metal for a daily keepsake.
The Reality of Resin: The memorial stones are created using premium, jeweler-grade resin. While formulated for maximum UV resistance and longevity, all resin can naturally warm in tone over time if exposed to harsh environments. Factors like frequent UV exposure, smoking, harsh cleaning chemicals, hand sanitizers, lotions, and perfumes can accelerate this process. Following the care card provided with your order will ensure your stone stays beautiful, clear, and bright.

Warranty, Wear, and Replacements

Because I cannot control how a piece is handled, stored, or cared for once it leaves my Calgary studio, refunds, exchanges, or replacements will not be accepted for natural aging, accidental damage, or improper wear.

Refunds and replacements will not be honored for:

Accidental Damage: This includes chipped or cracked resin stones caused by impact.
Normal Wear and Tear: This includes surface scuffs on the resin or steel, or the eventual fading of plated metal finishes.
Environmental Discoloration: Stone yellowing or spotting caused by exposure to chemicals, moisture, or prolonged sunlight.
